Nadia Ahern (Teacher, Sylvia Plath)

Nadia is excited to join the cast of BUKOWSICAL! She was recently ALDONZA in MAN OF LA MANCHA at A NOISE WITHIN theatre. Before coming to the land of earthquakes, mudslides and brush fires, Nadia honed her comedy and musical chops working the late night theatre scene in Chicago. While living in the land of Old Style, deep dish pizza and lake-effect snow, Nadia performed with Pegasus Players in FEMALE PROBLEMS: AN UNHELPFUL GUIDE by Sylvia author and Chicagoan Nicole Hollander; Lifeline Theatre in LIZARD MUSIC; Dreamstreet Theatre as Peggy in The Taffetas; Ravinia Festival as part of the chorus in the concert production of SWEENY TODD and was a resident ensemble member of MUSICAL! The MUSCAL-the world’s 1st TWO-ACT completely improvised musical. She’s also done numerous roles as part of the New Tuner’s workshop and annual STAGES festival in Chicago Nadia was also part of the touring company and mainstage ensemble at THE SECOND CITY in Detroit, appearing in the revue, WHITE WATER RAFTING. Ms.Ahern is also a graduate of the musical theatre program at the University of Windsor in Canada. It’s okay though, she’s got her green card.
