Lauren Rubin

Most recently Lauren created the role of Joyce in the new musical, “The Brain From Planet X”, in Los Angeles.  Her voice can be heard on the original cast recording.  In New York, Lauren starred as Tytania/Sander and Mia/Oberon in the long running Off-Broadway hit “The Donkey Show.”  Some other favorite New York credits include: Woman #2 in “Little by Little” (John Houseman Studio Theater, Madeleine Devo in “Escape from Pterodactyl Island” (Wings Theater), Jane in “The Guise Exhibit” (Judith Anderson Theater and Diana in “Freedom’s First Light” (13^th Street Repertory Company.)  Lauren has also performed in a number of cabarets and benefit concerts around Manhattan.  She graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and studied Shakespeare in England at the British American Dramatic Academy.  Her next project will start shooting this fall, where she will appear on screen with her husband Alex.
